humerus to be carved by Hall & Co. Yueret is mounting a Camel skeleton. The second New Zealand box has reached here safely. Have written Mrs. Lambert to ship specimens unless she is likely to get the large crabs soon-if so to wait. Word has come from Wells Fargo Co. of New York that they have a box for us from Liverpool. Mr. Howell wrote Tice &Lynch to see to it. We don't know from whom it comes-thought at first it must be Hyperoudow skeleton from Muller of Faroe Islands, but it may be two Moufflon skins from Prof. Emery of Italy. Have written Muller to send along all cases which he has-don't understand why he has not forwarded them before. Some of them must have been in his hands for 3 or 4 months at least. Dr. Keene of Phila. has written again from England giving some suggestions about mounting human skeletons and saying that he hoped we would have one for him within three months. The Hamburg Shipment includes a skeleton for him from Tramond. Prof. Babcock of Fredonia, who visited the Establishment not long ago, orders a $100 series of Invertebrates, a set of Diagrams, and a $72 of Anatomical models. These will be shipped to him tomorrow.
