Prof. Hooper will pay soon ^($515.)^ he says - sickness & death in his family prevented his attending to it before. Prof. Ellinwood of Centenary Coll. pays $50.- and sends new note for $125.- due Jan 1 '82- Asked Corning 10 days ago to remit, but have heard nothing from him. Oswego & Wellesley have not paid ^sent duplicate billed July 1^ Latter wants a matter of freight on models settled with E.A. Snow (40 Court St., Boston) before paying Wrote Snow asking full particulars. no answer yet. Crawfordsville has paid nothing since Mar 12. Schneider owes $267. Skins now on the way will lessen that amount. Sent him 2 Mt. Goats at $65. & $75. less 20%. Sent Gerrard Hatteria - 2 menopoma, 2 Amia, 2 Lepidosteus ^amounting to 18-8-0^ and 20 lbs. draft leaving 98 pounds-0-6 due him.. He makes no complaint about slow payment . Sent 208 frames to Mlle. Martin for 2 skeletons from Tramond^one for M.C.Zy & 1 for Dr. Keene Phila^. She writes asking about other skeletons from him and whether you are here as she has not heard from you- told here where you had gone & sent copy of Bulletin. no word from Blaschka since you left. Though it best not to write him - he being somewhat peculiar. Montaudon has models ready for
