I am sorry the ship is coming to N. York for many reason, it is much pleasanter in ones own home in the Country, than being cooped up on board ship in a hot City battling with Mosquitos; the "Sottie is slow & sure"& we can calculate with safety on her arrival not far from July 25th, the Cape will telegraph & I shall go directly- shall not stop more than ten days at longest, when he will return with me for a few days only, hardly think I shall go back with him; but I should go to St. Johns wait here until he was ready to leave? it would be dull & disagreeable for Fred in N. York, & I know he would not care to stop there but a day or two, so I propose he
