Dear Sir, I have postponed
answering your last kind letter thinking to arrange about Freds proposed visit, at one & the same time! I was much pleased to learn Fred was progressing so finely & hope he will continue to merit your good opinion, & if it is best remain with you as long as you may want him! I do not think he would wish to inconvenience you by being unnecessarily absent, but have presumed he would think some three weeks not too long a visit after a years absence!
