for I hardly want to lose a half year unless it is necessary.
I shall try to pick up some
information to the various fo? regions of the west in order to make the trip - if I must take it, - as pleasant as possible. The Dr. thinks that by spring my strength will be pretty much regained, and in that case I will be able to wield pick or shovel and enjoy it.
However I cannot yet give up
hope that such a trip may be unnecessary.
Could I be of any service for
two or three days at end of this month? Dr. says if I continue to gain at present rate, a few days visit to Rochester would probably do no harm. If I could help
