Dear Prof. Ward,

    Prof. Allen writes that Prof. Agassiz

prefers not to take it (Budorcas) at present in view of the large expenditures still pending to complete our collections, deeming it advisable to use the money in a way to cover more ground.

  Prof. Babcock of Fredonia Normal School sends

for a $100. series of Invertebrates, a set of Leuckart and Nitsche Diagrams ($12.--) unmounted and $72. of Anatomical Models. These will all be sent to him at once except two of the models now on the way from Ramme.

    We wrote Mrs. Lambert to send her lot un

less there was prospect of getting the large crabs.

    Mr. Howell has not yet written Prof. Scott again

as he wishes first to see Lee Ward, who is in Den- ver, Colo. and will return in a few days.

    Have not had tome as yet to make out August
