have been sent here by mail, together with Gold medal and diploma for Seth Green, and diploma for another exhibitor,- these last to be called for. These have not yet been rec'd. No news yet of Kanouse's Mt. Goats. - have written R. R. agent at Dillon inquiring about them, and requesting him to trace them. Have also written the Co. at Calcutta, which shipped Hume's birds, to inquire how they were sent etc. We should be glad to see them now, as M. C. Z. work promises to run short otherwise. Enclosed is copy of letter from Mr. Garman. A dog. cocoons have come from Mr. Blunt and have been sent to Corning.

Charles still works diligently, commencing work usually at 6 a.m. He is not away from home more than one or two evening in a week.

No farther news now.

Respectfully yours,

Arthur B. Baker.
