Dear Prof. Ward,

Letter day has come again with but little news for you. All is going on about as usual; work at shops progressing steadily.

Huntington called and paid bill for Henry Clay - $95.64. Scott writes that he wishes to see you before deciding about the elephant. Prof. Clark of Cincinnati is to be here Saturday, and if he should desire to have the skeleton go there, and the chances are good, of its being sold, it may be sent. If not, we shall write Prof. Scott again before send Elephant to San Francisco.

M. C. Z. shipment goes early next week: bill is not yet made out so that I cannot finish April statement. Will send it to you next week. Smithsonian Mt. Sheep etc were shipped last week, bill amounted to $212.- Prof. Baird writes that they have sent us two seal skins and one skeleton to be mounted. These have not yet come. He also writes that the Berlin silver medal and diploma
