[no longer upside down] No word from Scott yet in answer to letter sent a week ago offering Elephant skeleton in exchange for his at $300. difference. He has not yet paid interest on his account as he agreed to do. Mt. Goats not received. Have written again to R. R. agent at Dillon and agent of Stage Co. which took them from Benton to Dillon. Hope they will be here soon. Bierstadt's Mt. Sheep head was shipped on the 16th and $61. has been received for it. Have sent off two disart. homos C. O. D. during past ten days. Hambury cases have come and been unpacked. Models in good condition; have sent Dr. Jayne the two which he wanted, amounting to $20. Warsaw Union School will want some models, and Batavia Inst. for Blind probably. Eckert's Ostrich eggs -14 in number were good condition have sent 1/2 Dz to Wallace at $2.50 The Beauchene skull was in perfect shape; is better than the last one is cut query at jaws showing nerves of teeth and veins. Two of the three Homos received have been
