$150. Dr. Manigault wants you to procure for him "a real boomerang." Prof. Osborn has rec'd his urodela skeletons and is highly pleased with them. They are put on Scott's account which is now $1,142. He (Scott) may get money at anytime but cannot promise definitely. Can pay it himself if pushed, but would much prefer not to do so. Will pay interest will pay the amount now due - $50.- at once. Shufeldt returns Tetraonidae skeletons sent him, as he has them all. Have ordered 10 Ostrich eggs from Chas. Jamrach at 3/- each. Eckerh sent bill for 14 at 6 M: said only 10 were ordered were ordered but as they were nice and cheap, he put in 4 extra. Told him we would not give more than 3 M. for the extra ones. Hugo v. Koppenfels sent case containing young Gorilla skin and skel. and a number of other specimens. Fletcher wrote that. Steamer bringing them to Liverpool collided and was total loss. K. wants to know just what we wanted from Africa and price. Told him two ad. male Gorillas £50 ea.- skin and skel. 2 female £35 ea.- skin and skel: also sent list of spins needed for M. C. Z. Kanouse writes nothing of importance. W. H. Woodcock of Ft. Wrangle, Alaska, will try to procure Sea Otter (Back of Charlie's letter)
