and oil painting and think they would be of service to me. As to wages I think I should have my necessary living expenses until it was thought I should have more. If I am employed by you and it is agreeable I think I would ^like^ to stay for a considerable length of time. I have written for some recommend- ations which I can probably send at' some future day.
