As I ought to begin work as soon as I return to New York, can you give me some help at first?
I wanted to begin without any
assistance but it would necessitate my
waiting for several weeks longer
which I am afraid I ought not to
do, as they may not wish me to put
off my work longer. and
My friend and myself are helping
a fisherman besides attending to our traps which is pretty hard work although out of doors all of the time - it is making ^me^ quite strong and I begin to feel like work again.
I shall write you again before
