As I ought to begin work as soon as I return to New York, can you give me some help at first?

I wanted to begin without any

assistance but it would necessitate my waiting for several weeks longer which I am afraid I ought not to do, as they may not wish me to put off my work longer. and

My friend and myself are helping

a fisherman besides attending to our traps which is pretty hard work although out of doors all of the time - it is making ^me^ quite strong and I begin to feel like work again.

I shall write you again before

going to New York. Sincerely Yours Cha's D. Chichester. Upon looking at Professors letter again I find that the flipper you have can be used although poor: CDC

How is Cousin Lee Seldon now?
       Please remember me to him.
