to have a little done in the dental line & the dentist is ^glad^ of a few days additional. I flatter myself you will find Freds faithful to your interests, & I feel that confidence in you that I do not hesitate to say in return you will deal kindly & justly by him; a parent yourself I know you can in some manner appreciate my feelings at parting with a child for the first time, but we cannot expect to have them always with us, & it would not be strange if he should be a little homesick at fist, but I think he will soon get over it; there are neighbors of ours who have friends there (a Mr Charles Drew, who have been there but a year) & they have kindly offered to introduce them by letter, & I presume that if he boards at the Deacon Youngs you spoke of it will be a home like place; we have always attended the Unitarian Church &
