just received. I am glad to know you are picking up some nice minerals and I wish you might get them all in exchange as you did the Meteorite you wrote me about on the 17.. and also the one you wrote Henry about. I have just heard today from Ft Lyon Colo. from a man I wrote to about a Meteorite, that he had sent it to Hidden - I guess it was a genuine meteorite. - He described it in Scientific American the 15 . . ?. I feared I would not reach him in time and tried to telegraph but there was no station at Ft. Lyon. But Hidden probably had it secured before the article was published. The Meteorites you have are probably ? or ? are they not? If they are new ones they are? very valuable. Of the slices cut from Bements I sold two to Vienna ( which are paid for - $55.) one to British Museum. 1 to Sturtz and 1 to Gregory, which leaves us only one which is in two pieces. Have also sold 8lb. Garnet to B. Museum for L 2. -10. - and 4lb. one to Vienna for $5. and now we have
