Memorandum of an Agreement between Mr. Robt Colgate of this city and Henry A. Ward of Rochester N. Y.
Mr. Ward agrees to furnish to Mr. Colgate all the species of Quadrumana which are enumerated in the list marked "List C", which list forms a part of this contract.
Mr. Ward agrees that all specimens furnished by him shall be of the first quality of preservation and of mounting, and their acceptance by Mr. Colgate shall depend upon their being so considered by Prof. Bickmore and Dr. Holder. The specimens are to be adult males when not otherwise indicated in the list. All the specimens are to be mounted on cherry pedestals or stands uniform in material and structure with those now in the cases at the American Museum of Natural History at New York.
All specimens are to be scientifically labelled by Mr. Ward with printed labels uniform with samples already furnished to him. All specimens are to be delivered by Mr. Ward at the door of the above mentioned Museum.
Mr. Ward agrees to deliver all these specimens.
