so your studies will not hereby be retained I am now going to jot down some little news items, as they occur to any mind going along - Imprines - Uncle Ferdinand is publishing a new work, to be entitled, "Summer Vacation Abroad". I correct proof for him, so am thoroughly read in the book - he delivered the substance of it in Lectures at Geneseo last winter, and thereafter some of the prominent citizens of the place, requested his manuscripts for publication, thinking it a pity so much valuable matter should be lost to the world; - upon which Uncle F. conclu- ded, to give to the world another volume in verification of the scriptural assertion viz "of making many books there is no end". I have say; although other trav- ellers </u have > published, the book in ques- tion will be readable.
