of this time of the year and make about the 1st of December. From December until May as a general thing we have not said, and the Country is very healthy. The fact is never very unhealthy, but in the rainy season one cannot travel along the Country, for which there are no conveniences, except open canoes and saddle horses without being subject to such exposure and would be detrimental to health in any part of the world. It would afford me much pleasure to welcome you to this Country, and to extend to you much services and may be in my power, should you decide to come.
