My dear Sir:

    Your telegram of 15th inst

came duly to hand. I had supposed you had sailed about 10 inst, and had therefore given up all idea of being able to send my package by you, But altho I am not yet ready, I have directed a friend in N. D. to forward to you what (little) we may have of my expected budget - for Even & Stone. And I presume the package will leave N. D. to-day . and be in Mr Merchants care when you call. I hope you this letter will await yr call at the same point.
