Dear Sir,
Prof Ward's last letter, from N.Y. informed me that \you have charge of the Zoological Department during his absence. I enclose herewith Bill of this season's collection, which was shipped from Virginia City Oct 13th as our shipping receipt enclosed - & if not delayed, should reach you about 20th or 25th of November.
With the exception of a few small specimens, the
list is the same, as mailed Prof Ward July 20th
He has no doubt advised you of the payments
made on this lot, the receipts for which I have mailed to him. & have also given credit for them on the bill here sent.
In his letter of Sept 15th were orders for $200.00
in full payment of our old a/c, Oct 2nd We sent from Rochester P. O. orders for $150.00 on Oct. 6th " N. Y. city " " " 76.00
_______ $226.00
leaving balance of $150.00 which he advised me you would send shortly after the Box's arrived at Rochester.
