weather turns for the worse we will try to start it next week. DeKempeneer is mounting Homos so as to have them ready for San Francisco. I do hope that some of the Italians will turn out well. Have filled Prof. Emory's notes for 350 fres. of alcoholics, 200 fre. in ex- change for two Ibex skins. Will write Townsend for some Meuspome as we are now out. It seems as if there was nothing at all to write you for everything goes on about the same from week to week. In my next I will send the proposed list of skeletons for San Francisco and Cincinnati, The Bulletin is undergoing it's regular course of postponement. As I remarked once before I shall belive in it </s while > when I see it. Next week we pack for Cambridge and fight bugs, i.e., give everything a going over. Made a hit of birds from Schneider's Catalogue and sent to Prof. Allen. He chose a number and I at once ordered them from Schneider telling him to forward immediately. I shall await the New Zealand shipment with much interest. The Maori seems very cheap and we will get it up as you direct. Very truly your's Frederic A. Lucas.
