W, & H. have only $100. in the treasury, was afraid I should have to draw that but $185. came from Prof. Anderson today and $50. from Prof. Nosan and so we run along. We shipped $95. worth of Insects and minerals to West Point today. Clarence King has resigned and Maj. Powell has been appointed director of the U.S. Gov. Survey.
