As to the Geological (or Paleontological) Collection about which I arranged with you. I feel quite mortified in having now to write of </u a blunder which I made in the price of that .>. My mistake arose from the fact that since the series was planned (1891) I have been chiefly engaged in another department. - My son being the Superintendent of the Paleontology . In my call upon you last Friday I did not have with me the Catalogue of the "Academy Collection " of Paleontology, and I became confused as to its composition of </u Main Collection > and </u Supplement >. If you will now open the copy of this Catalogue which I here enclose, you will understand my mistake. On page 144 you will see (middle of page) a summary, giving the </u individual > value of the specimens at </u $462. > And at end of page the price which I charge for </u the. whole > reduced to </u $400. >.
