added, when wished, for the further sum of </u $250. >. I knew of the fact of this Supplement; but I had forgotten what it consisted of.. And thus I held the idea that the Glypton (see page 152) was (not in Supplement, but) in the body of the Collection, as it is in my ($1,200) </u "College > Collection". It is only today that I have had my attention called to the blunder which I </s have > made when talking with you. If you remember that I have 18 different Catalogues of my science material, and some of them (as in Paleontology) of graded series, you will, I trust, understand and excuse my big, if not strange, blunder.

But now - </u what shall we do > ? I very much hope

that you will go on on a new basis, which I will make as easy for you as I can. You see that this "Academy Collection" </u proper > is already reduced $62. to bring it to </u $400. >. I can not make that any lower. But the Egyptian with pedestal is $165, on your furnishing pedestal -$145. I will call that </u $125. > Making the Collection proper, with its Supplement of Glyptodon, </u $525. > When in our bargain I had agreed for other $50. to come on personally and arrange the Collection and give the couple of days to your grand collection\ as well, - labelling, & e. Now I will improve on this by bringing with me my Conshologist and leaving him for several days after I leave, to further get you large Shell ^ and other muskeloids^ series into </u much > better shape (scientifically ) than it now is. Now the $50. will as you see, not even pay the R. R. fare for us both. But I shall charge no more. I will </u throw in > the rest in atonement for this awkward blunder of mine, and because I want to have some active part in your </u splendid > Natural Science Museum. I hope that you will accept the new situation. I remain, Sir, Yours very respectfully Henry A. Ward
