some $20. more for my carload than I had agreed to rather than to lie for a week or more in delay of my work to obtain my rights. It appears that in this matter one ? fai- led to charge me as much as they wished, ap- parently not as much as by their local tariff they should have charged. I am sorry if this mistake involved a loss upon an innocent individual. I am further sorry that some one- else whoever he may be did not lose what I regret I had to pay. I am sincerely sorry for Mr Lee It is not a clerical error on his part from the effects of which he should be released _ It is more. I can not right wrongs which are connected to a wholesale wrong me.

The freight (billed by the Lehigh & Susquehanna)

had no business on the Phila. & Reading Road!

      A. M. Ward writes and if these be the facts

it is too bad that any road should ask him to pay such a bill. Yours, T. Green (Sig) Hand Change Green T. Mar/76
