ybg Zoological Department 29 Febr.76. Dear Sir I was glad to receive your letter of Febr. 14, announcing the despatch of some of the skeletons, although I am afraid that they will not arrive in time to be taken into next month's account. I always prefer </u rough > skeletons, whenever practicable, but I am well satisfied by your assurance that you will never send me second- rate or incomplete specimens. I now answer some parts of your letter, referring the reply to others to my next letter.
Please keep in your mind my wish for adult
& large skeletons & skulls of the Grizzly Bear. The price you put on your skeleton of </u Spharjis > is too large for the London Market, as the species is more common in other parts of the world, than on the American Coast.
