nwh [page 1] Office of H. W. BOYD, M. D. 1391 Indiana Avenue CHICAGO Dec 24th 187 5 Prof H. A. Ward.

       My dear Sir
               To day I

received a fine specimen of the two horned Rhinoseros. he weighs 2,000 pounds, his skin is gone, and if properly taken off and cared for, it will make a splendid piece to stuff. = How much is it worth to you.? = I am having it skinned to day. If you want it let me know at once and how much it is worth to you. If you don't want it I shall send it to John Wallace. = Have you any skeletons.? - That Gorilla with a bullet hole through his head is perfect except two ribs, and a few phalanges of the feet. = I have some specimens coming from Norway. = ?
