Caribou skeleton that is not - on my list, & perhaps some other things. If you will unpack carefully, & send - me an anno- tated list of just what you find I shall be greatly obliged. Owing to great pressure of other matters I have had but - three days in which to get out & pack this large amount of material. I expected to start for Washington last - night, but - unforeseen circumstances have prevented & I may not go at all, -at - least - not - till next week.

what some packing material was perfumed with - I am - unable to say. It came with a collection of Bird - skins from India.
