Otherwise complete skeletons lack a few [phalangal or sesamoid bones, or both, I have noted most of these deficiencies in the accompanying invoice. Some times, too, the specimen consists of only the limbs or of one or two limbs, or of a few limb bones, as you will also see by this invoice. If you will notice these things in advance you will know what - to look for, & be saved some trouble perhaps in looking for things that are not there.

Brazilian </u porcupine >- You will find it in a small box, within one of the larger box. The large box is distinguished by this mark on the outside (/X/), In the small box with this skin are also some small skeletons, infected of course with [</u dermistis >], so that it would be well to unpack this box as soon as possible.
