four (64) complete (or almost - complete) skeletons, parts of thirty Nine others and about - skulls. </u Not any > of the specimens are </u to be mounted >, but it might be well to connect together, as you have usually done. The bones of one foot and one hind limb of each skeleton, and the lower jaws to their respective skulls.
The skeletons ( and also the skulls)
are all numbered with the current numbers of our catalogue, in which is rendered in full the identity, names, donor, etc. of each, so that it will be of the </u utmost importance > to not disconnect - or loose the num - bers, as you will of course appreciate, for these numbers furnish the sole clue to the origin of the specimens.
Generally each bone of every Skel-
eton is distinctly marked with the same number for each skeleton.
