Dear Prof. Ward,

  I ship this day to

your address ten (10) large cases of bones from the Museum of Comparative Zoology. They will go as "fast - freight." Mr. Agassiz wished them prepaid, but - our expressman says it would be better - And less trouble to </u their > purppose, - to pay at Rochester, & let this bill be returned here. So if you will be kind enough to pay charges & send bill for the same I will see that the amount is promptly refunded.
