Sometime ago I have proposed this because in Sydney things were somewhat uncertain at that time. I am now decided and have so written to Mr. Cheeseman, to reach Auckland about the first of May next.

I have nearly finished the stuffing of the Moose skin.

Since I wrote you last I received a third Tiger Shark, only 4 foot long, I refused it at first, but as I am not certain of receiving an other larger one, I bought it for 7 shillings: for the 2 larger ones (6 feet long) I had to pay 17 shillings a piece.

This is all the news I can think of.
