  Although I wrote

you a few days since yet - I take it - for granted you will like to hear again. Mrs. Ward reached home Sat eve feeling of course quite tired but now that she is rested I think she looks very well. Alice is very much browned and has a great deal to tell us of her trip and how much she saw in Washington. Her little cousins are spending this afternoon with her to day from the Grove..
