Mother seems to be rid of thoughts of "magic"

but those of "deviltry" of all imaginable kinds, posess her. Physically she is quite strong; sits up every day.

I must now see Mrs. Dolly or I will be too

late to find her at home.

I have just been to see Mrs. Dolly.
She says it will probably be a ling time before

mother entirely recovers. Probably a matter of months perhaps one or two years. Still she thinks that she will eventually recover. At present she is at the lake, will return in about a week.

Mrs. Dolly says that she thinks it necessary

for the welfare of both Alice and Mother that they be separated. Strongly advises sending Alice to school, and not letting them be together more than one hour per week.

Alice, she thinks must be put under

some strong willed person or else she will "go to the bad>' Mother, Mrs. Dolly says will probably at times be better, and then be worse. Please consider Alice's case as it needs immediate action. Gave Mrs. Dolly $10.00 on Alice's acct. In haste. Your affectionate sones Henry L. Ward
