       I believe that my

last letter was from Cincinnati.

       I had a pleasant although very 

warm trip home; visiting a few friends along the route.

       I called at Mrs. Durfee's.
       She asked a great many questions

about you, where you were, where going, and when you would return. She hopes that you will go and see her soon after your arrival.

       Things are all well here.

Everyone in good health, inclu- -ding horse. Have just got a lot of coal into the cellar.
