tralia there is much that I lack. Primarily
ancient human-remains; then complete skele-
tons of unmixed race especially of the interior
aborigines - or heads of the same with hair
and beard preserved in alcohol. Stone im-
plements and ornaments of Jade of Nephrite
from New Zealand; tatood heads (Ancient),
Photographs and Ethnographic material
of such tribes as yet uninfluenced by Euro-
pean, Pottery. Particularly should I like col-
lections illustrating the methods of making
fires without the aid of matches, of which
there are as many different ways and peoples.
At the last Exposition in Sydney I was a-
warded the prize. I have a picture in
and one at the present on exhibition
in San Francisco. Last year I sold one
to Yedo (Japan). as you see I smear
Internationally ("schmiere international").
