The backgrounds are being painted for Webster's groups and they look very well. All go in a handsome mahogany frame made to rest on a table case. Prof Baird seems to like the groups very much his only objections being to some of Mr. Ridgeway's painting ! Enclosed is the S. A. L notice. If the Lily pads have not left and you still have a fern or two can you spare me one ?
