views on the subject. Catalogue of MHuman anatomy is also nearly exhausted. Of Osteology we have an ample supply for some time to come the last edition having been printed quite recently. The </u Hyperiodon >> from Muller is a good one, about / feet long. We will have to wait until Spring before we can accommodate it as it is so large. However expose to snow and then will do it quite as much good as soaking during the winter Since my last letter I have been home, packed up the household gods and dishes and brought my Mother & Sister here. I wish I had a more definite idea of just how things were going to work, so as to decide about renting a house or even buying one for a good one is now for sale cheap. Scott seems confident that his plans are going to come to pass, but "hope deferred makith the heart sick" and I have now waited over a year for him, If I could get the same here that I could anywhere else I would of course prefer to stay. But in the present state of affairs it is of course needless to hope for any more money, even if given indirectly by shortening time. It would be quite a help to me if I had full pay for nine hours . But I will not trouble you further with this at present.
