bone. So the matter rests there. Scott reports no new developments, but things every-thing favorable. I am afraid your dis-content is well founded and I fear that I have lost some of my interest. I am not worth much unless I can see plenty of work ahead. For most reasons I should much prefer remaining in R. than quitting it; but on my side I am lazy enough to desire a place when I can get over a thousand a year and not have to work 300 ten hour days to do it; and also where there is a prospect of getting more at some time. At present it seems to me quite as probable that I shall stay longer in Rochester as that I shall leave it.
Sincerely yours,
Frederic A. Lucas.
[upside down section] will do the best I can in preparing for the Bulletin. But if I have skill of any kind it is certainly not in writing. G Brown Goode writes that the gentleman who has ceratodus for sale is Thos. Baker, Maryborough, Queensland, Australia. Have repeated this to you twice before, but to make sure I will send it again.
