would purchase & mail to me the best
work in Minerology, noting price, which I will credit you with. - & any other one work which you might think, would furnish light, where you know I need it. & together with what ideas your letters will crowd into me. Possibly better service will be rendered you when I go. Of course I might not go at all, but then I would assist someone else to perform the service.
We have about six inches of snow here now.
& I am waiting for it to melt, when I will spend a few days in exploring the surface of a geological wash, where I planted a crop of Potatoes last spring.
