him a box in a few days. Also had a letter from Prof. Allen yesterday. He says he thinks he will have to decline our offer of winged Lion & Bull. boxed for $300. - Don't see his way clear to the money just now - I will tell him that we will wait on him, and perhaps he may decide to take them. I hope so, If the Bull goes away from here without a mould being made, I presume you will not sleep easy until we have another. I will get it out and mend it up and perhaps mould it up anyway. I think we will see The Bulletin in the printers hands next week. I prepared a paper sometime on meteors and meteorites, which I will cut down for the bulletin, We sent Dr. Newbery $145. worth of fossils last week, he writes (mail just in) that he will take the most of them if not all. The mail also brought $20. from Boston [North First Drve.[ for geological models. we have more of these small orders than we used to have. - shall look anxiously for your next letter telling how things look in Melborne and wish you might be able to take in a lot of orders - send them on and we will fill them. will look after the things you have shipped when they arrive - will inclose a letter in this which I forgot in my last. Truly yours. Edwin E. Howell
