came together half an hour ago. We began to pack today, and everything must go off before tomorrow night. And at 3:30 P. M. I am to dress up and tail in at the end of the procession which unveils the statue of Prof. Henry. I am deviled half to death by the Judge business, and have been for a solid month. Even now I cannot tell you who is to be our 3rd judge. Am anxious and worried about those confounded </u plates > for catalogue. Davie writes that he has written Cassius to send to you that electro at once. Webster has the frog cut. The Moss Co. are dilatory as usual with their plate for frontispiece. By what process of reasoning do </u you > arrive at that conclusion ? It cannot add a cent to my income, I get no thanks from anybody and no credit even if the thing is a howling success for the public has no way of knowing who does the worrying for all hands. But if the thing is in any way a failure, the blame will be most
