ybg Battle Creek, Mich. May 29th 1879. Dear Prof Ward:
Your telegram was duly
recd, and in consideration of the fact that I cannot reach Rochester nearly so soon as I intended and you perhaps expected, I have concluded it will hardly be worth while to telegraph you. I sent you a hurried postal three days ago, mentioning next Tuesday at 7:20 A. M. as the time of my arrival in Rochester. I will positively be on hand then, barring serious accident or sickness.
