be inferior to our H. Collection, & we might learn a few facts that we could use to advantage. It seems to me it must be a truly magnifi- cent collection (of small things ! ) to be worth the price asked. But I will think about it. Perhaps it would not pay after all to take the trouble to stop.

    Prof. Steere is just ready to start

on another trip to the Amazon, to collect. One of the Battle Creek's rich men (Mr Nichols) has given the magnifi- cent sum of $350. to defray the expenses of a young man named Brigham who will accompany Prof Steere and collect specimens from The High School Museum, this city. You will remember that Prof Stone took you through the H. S. Museum.
