Dear Sir, Yours of the 11th wish mat
hand. I have marked out the space 293/4
x 23/4 inches, for the algae as you sug-
gested. And I am in doubt whether to
send the specimens to Rochester at
once. Lest they might not be satisfactory
if sent, I send you a paper showing
how the specimens will go, & that
with the size of your frame
& shows the ^relative^ size of the specimens. If your
frame was long enough to take a row of
full sized specimens on the bottom
I could easily mount & one at the side
I could easily mount a fine large spe-
cimen of the California algae for the centre.
I have tried many frames but never met
with one that specimens would fill
