for San Francisco are being made as rapidly as possible and all are kept busy. The Bulletin is rapidly taking shape and will very soon be ready for the printer. Mr. Hornaday will write you by Frisco. He grumbles a little because Mr. Howell does not take a more active interest in it. Mr. Lucas is at work on catalogue of Normal series of skeletons , which Mr. Howell thinks out to be published soon. Charles is still at birds, but makes rather slow progress, as it is not just he kind of work which suits him. Shall expect a letter from you next week: will send our next letter via S. F. and I suppose it will reach you before this.

Respectfully yours,

A. B. Baker.
