                 Yours of some

{days?] since duly to hand - the last shipment arrived safely a few days since, although [?] specimens -- a Weaseal (sic) & an Owl (scops) -- were loose in the box when it was opened. The Weaseal appeared not to have been fastened at all, but the Owl s <s> had got loose from its fastning, the screw having broken out of its pedestal - Fortun- ately no serious harm was done - We accept Pteropus Edwordsii <u>, [not?} on approval -
