    How is it about the north

American Bats, Shrews, and Mice of which there are still some lacking ? I suppose skins suitable for mounting are hard to get but hope ou will keep them in mind, as these are now ^almost^ the only deficiencies in the North American fauna. Very truly yours J. A. Allen
