Dear Sir

    I have your note of

the 14th and was sorry to find your card at home on my return and thus lose the chance of talking over your plans but Mr Allen knows what we want so well that I presume from what he says you understand our wishes & plans perfectly. I am glad to hear that the prospect is good for completing the room. As far as I can see now the room for S. America and Australia will be ready for their faunae collections by the fall of 1880 or early winter.
