     I wish I could

write you more encouragingly - (was about sending a card & recd your second letter speaking of your going o Pittsburgh tonight.)

     Some of the college people here

think that many people would not go to the fair to see your exhibit if they knew it was for the college as then they could see it for nothing ! I was detained by Phila by commit to work longer than I expected & have not been able since my return to see Mr. Mc Dowell. Will try to see him as soon as possible. It is difficult fot me to go out to see him (5 miles) as I have extra college work to make up for my absence. It would do more I think, to help things on, if you could come up here from Pittsburgh for a day & see Dr Hays & others interstice. Yours truly W. H. G. Adney.
