nwh May 28, 1886, Dear Prof Ward; 

       The box of mounted

specimens safely to hand & bill approved. I have deducted for the skins furnished by the Museum. 

       I return the Seals replaced

by the new specimens, namely, phoca groenlandica ? young, and also 

a Whitefooted Mouse & three birds

rejected from a former sending. Also two mammals included in the last the present by mistake. Very truly yours J. A. Allen
